Wrap House, a cantilevered coastal residence by FIXd Architecture, seen from the shoreline

Wrap House

Coastal residence

A cantilevered coastal residence on a rocky shoreline, its stacked glass volumes wrapping a stone core and opening to the sea on every side.

Wrap House is a study for a shoreline residence in which two glazed living volumes are stacked and rotated around a masonry core. The upper volume cantilevers toward the water, and the assembly reads differently from every approach: closed and sheltering from the land, open and transparent from the sea.
